Tony-Paul de Vissage talks about Absinthe - A tale of Magic, Love and Revenge

Absinthe…the drink they call the Green Fairy…addictive and deadly, destroying sanity.

Absinthe…a beautiful young man, as seductive and habit-forming as the liqueur for which he’s named…amoral and beguiling, once he’s tasted, he can never be forgotten.

A marquis’ son raised in a New Orleans whorehouse, ripped from his lover’s arms and thrust into the world of French nobility, Absinthe strives to be what his father wishes. He may escape his past but his voudou teachings follow him, causing death and madness to those he loves.

Absinthe …behold, a beautiful monster.

Unlike some of my characters who arrive full-fledged onto my computer screen, Absinthe developed along with his story. I had intended a “simple” tale of love gone wrong, thwarted by magic. What I got was the story of a man raised to have no conscience, only to be destroyed when the glimmerings of morality begin to develop.

Absinthe lives his life in an ambiguous atmosphere. He’s a whore…yet because of his very obvious physical charms, can pick and choose his patrons. This beautiful young man, believed by most of his clientéle to be the child of a slave, is actually the son of a marquis, given in calculating revenge by his abandoned wife to his mistress to raise as a putain de garçon. Abused, subjugated, kept in a life of debauchery through the threat of magical punishment, Absinthe has one true love: Rouge Meurtrier. It’s Rouge to whom he gives his heart though others possess his body but it’s Rouge’s heart which is broken when Absinthe’s father learns of his existence and rescues his son, taking him to France and his rightful place in the nobility.

Étienne Delafée has no idea what he’s about to unleash upon his world…

No doubt some readers will view Absinthe as the villain of the story, a manipulator and a calculating schemer who gets what he deserves. Some may view him as a victim, a casualty of circumstance, someone to be pitied and the story of his life a tragedy. He’s all of those things but most importantly, he’s a very human character who tries to do what he believes is right in the face of the most difficult choices. I hope most will see him that way.

EXCERPT:

From the moment Célestine left l’Hirondelle Blanche a short time after her husband, Geneviéve and the Marquise had no further contact. The madam considered Célestine’s suicide as cancelling their bargain. After all, she’d done what she agreed to. She made Étienne’s son into a whore. The Marquis would never return. He’d never know of his child. Other than Geneviéve, no one alive, not even Mathilde, knew of the boy’s origins. They all believed him a foundling, so life would go on as it had, with Absinthe whoring for her forever.
And now, Étienne was back, and in Absinthe’s suite. As a customer. Now what Célestine wished was about to happen, if Geneviéve didn’t prevent it…a latent speck of morality flared to life in the madam’s breast. . “Oh, God, I hope I’m not too late.” He mustn’t touch Absinthe. He mustn’t. Please, God, don’t let it happen.
She was panting by the time she opened the door and stepped into the corridor. She could see Absinthe’s door at the end of the hall, couldn’t run toward it fast enough. Her legs seemed leaden, her skirts and petticoats wrapping around her calves, conspiring to hobble her. Oh, dear God
Geneviéve’s flight was stopped by her body striking the door. Her fists pounded the dark wood. When there was no answer, she pushed open the door and rushed in.
In the center of the room the two figures started, jerking toward her. Her frantic eyes took in Absinthe in Étienne’s embrace, the heavy flush of their faces, the way their bodies were pressed together.
Get way…from him,” she gasped, puffing so deeply she could barely speak. “Don’t…touch him.”
Why not?” Without releasing the boy, Étienne swung toward her.
I mean it. Get away from him or I’ll kill you!” She raised a clenched fist, making a stabbing gesture.
Her ferocity seem to amuse him. “I daresay there are many who believe he’s worth dying for and I may be another after I’ve had him. Just now, however, I’ll ask again, Why not?”
She didn’t answer, couldn’t, just stood with one hand pressed against her heaving bosom. Absinthe shifted his weight. Étienne tightened his grip.
I’ve paid for his ass and I intend to enjoy this sweetmeat and decide for myself if his reputation’s deserved. Either kill me or leave, Geneviéve, so I can get on with it.”
Étienne…don’t.” She tried to put as much threat into that one word as she could.
His answer was to turn away. “Do you want me to leave, Absinthe?”
It’s your franc, Peridot.” Absinthe’s shrug was indifferent as he looped an arm around Étienne’s neck. “But it’s my ass. How much do you really want it?” He looked past him to Geneviéve. “Mamère, go. My reputation’s at stake and he mustn’t leave until I acquit myself.”
Absinthe has spoken.” With a satisfied laugh, Étienne slid his hands upward to bury them in the thick ringlets.
Come, Peridot…” Absinthe raised his head, mouth slightly open, lips inviting invasion. His tongue peeked out, tip beckoning.
Étienne bent for his initial assault.
He’s your son.”
Étienne’s head whipped around. So did Absinthe’s. For a moment, both stared at her, two pair of identical pale green eyes widening in disbelief.

ABSINTHE: A TALE OF MAGIC, LOVE, AND REVENGE will be released by Class Act Books on February 15, 2014. It will be available from the publisher and on amazon.

Presenting Lust or Love by H. Barlow

Lust or Love is for 18’s and over only due to some swearing and sexual content. It isn’t your typical ‘happily ever after’ story; no rock stars, cowboys or rich guys sweeping you off your feet... This is an everyman romance.

What do you do when the one who completely wrong for you keeps coming back into your life? Single mother Heather is turning thirty and can’t help but evaluate her life.

The book is set in a small town in Yorkshire, England in 2011. You will look back into Heathers past and follow her into the present.

For six years Heather has been torn between her feelings for the destructive Kian and the harsh truth that they probably won’t ever be together. For more than six years life has taken them in different directions; however Heather can never seem to get Kian out of her mind, and at the most unexpected points in her life Kian has a habit of reappearing. If it isn’t really love than is the lust worth the pain? Or can Heather let Kian go for good?

A little about Hayley Barlow

I would like to my introduce myself to you all , I am a thirty two year old mum to an  nine year old wonderful daughter. I am new to the writing scene, and as well as being a mum I run my own small business in massage and holistic therapy’s which I started in April 2013. I have not been writing since high school were English was my favourite lesson and I loved writing reports and short stories but i lost touch with it after leaving school and working many bar jobs. I still stayed a massive book worm and love anything from horror, drama and romance to young adult novels.
2013 I found myself   doing a lot of things I love to do and have been inspired by many indie authors. I decided to enter a writing completion at the back end of 2012  which I did not get very far in the competition but by just entering it was the push I needed to carry on writing my first novel lust or love.

Natalie Wright talks about Emily's Heart

Guest Post from Jake’s Journal

This post is in the voice of my character, Jake. Jake is a main character in all three books in The Akasha Chronicles, but in the third book, Emily’s Heart, Jake is a first-person narrator (in addition to the main protagonist, Emily). This bit is from Jake’s “private” diary and it’s from the period of time before the book begins.

From the Private Diary of Jake Stevens:

I used to be a pretty happy-go-lucky guy. So long as I had books to read and a frig full of Coke (regular, not that diet crap), I was happy. Well, and I guess I needed one more thing.

To be near her. The spicy, citrusy scent of her hair in my nostrils. The sound of her throaty laugh in my ears. The way her green eyes got bright and twinkly when she smiled. And her smile. When she smiled at me, it filled me with a joy I’ve never felt with anyone else.

Her smile. That was all I needed. Oh, I wanted more of course. But I’m a patient guy. I was content to wait. I figured if I treated her well enough long enough, she’d come around. She’d see the truth of it. She’d see that I loved her and I’d always loved her.

And I thought I always would love her.

But that was before. Before she loved someone else. Before she went and messed it all up.

Now? I don’t love her. I wish I never had.

The world is blanketed in a cover of darkness and it’s all her fault. My little brother and sister are always scared. My mom is filled with terror. We’re afraid all the time. And it’s all her doing.

And she loved him and not me. Now my heart is a torn up mess. And that’s all her fault too.

I wish I’d never loved her. I wish I didn’t still love her.

From the Back Cover:

Seventeen-year-old Emily Adams unintentionally unleashed a shadow god's dark energy power into the world and started an Apocalypse. But Emily is also the only one that can end the dark god's reign. Though the powerful faerie magic of the golden torc is still coiled around her arm, self-doubt threatens to undo her. Emily wants nothing more than to feel the soft kiss of her one true love, but he won't even speak to her. Her first crush is still quite dead and her best friend remains a prisoner in the dark god's house of nightmares. A growing legion of black-eyed shadow people, devoid of conscience, roam the streets. Emily needs help now more than ever, but redemption seems far off indeed as she faces the expanding darkness alone.

Emily will need an army of her own if she is to save the world from being taken over by pure evil. But will a small band of Lucent geeks and freaks be enough to send the dark god packing?

Amidst chaos and ruin, will love blossom in Emily's Heart?

Excerpt:

We had a few minutes until class – or longer if our prof never showed up. We were shootin’ the shit about sports when I felt my phone, tucked inside my bag, wedged between the pages of my notebook, vibrate.
I dug the phone out and checked the caller ID. ‘Gabriella Hoffman.’ I didn’t know any Gabriella. But Hoffman. Could it be?
“You going to answer that?” Tristan asked.
“I’m not sure who it is.”
“They can’t beat you up over the phone, man. Answer it.”
I hesitated another second, but when it rang again, I hit the answer button.
“Hello?”
“Jake?”
“Yeah. Who’s this?”
“It’s Greta.”
Silence.
“Greta Hoffman.”
Hearing that name was like a punch in my gut. I was suddenly clammy, and my stomach seized into a knot.
“Jake, are you there?”
I tried to respond, to tell her ‘yeah, I’m here’, but my mouth was full of cotton. I hadn’t seen Greta for almost a year. The last time I saw her, she was walking down that hill in the cemetery, going her way, and I went mine. None of what happened was Greta’s fault, but she’d been there. She was a part of the nightmare I’d tried so hard to forget. When I heard her voice, it was like a rush of horrific images flooded my mind. It made me want to puke out my French toast.
“Jake?”
I finally managed to squeak out, “I’m here.”
“Phew, I thought you’d fainted or something for a minute there. I’m glad you picked up. I need to talk to you.”
“Why? You haven’t ever needed to talk to me, Greta. Not BA, and not for the past year.”
“I think it’s pretty obvious why.”
“No. No, it’s not obvious.”
“Maybe you haven’t noticed, but there’s a friggin’ Apocalypse going on out there. That’s why.”
“Yeah, I noticed.” I touched my still-sore ribs, all the reminder I needed. I doubted perfect, pretty, rich and mighty Greta Hoffman had a set of broken bones or bruises to match mine.
“Well? Don’t you want to do something about it?”
“I’m pretty busy trying to stay alive. Besides, why are you calling me? I’d suggest you contact the redhead with the magic arm bracelet.”
“I have talked to her.”
She had talked to Emily? Greta Hoffman had voluntarily talked to Emily Adams? That was even more improbable than the God of Dark Energy taking over our planet. It made me instantly nervous.
“And?”
“And she has agreed to join with me to recruit people to fight the Dark Energy followers.”
Silence.
“Jake? You still there?”
“Yup. Let me get this straight. You and the witch want to create some little band of light knights or something?”
“Ooh, I like that. Light Knights! Or maybe Lucent Knights. What do you think?”
“I think you’re nuts.”
I looked over at Tristan and mimed a ‘she’s crazy’ motion with my hand around my head. He smiled at me and went back to whatever it was he was doing with his phone.
“Why am I nuts for wanting to fight back?”
“Haven’t you noticed that you can’t fight against this darkness? Oh, you probably haven’t noticed anything. Your daddy probably has a driver take you to school and pick you up and shelter you from all the shit going down.”
“How dare you! You don’t know anything about what I’ve gone through. I was there, or have you forgotten that?”
“I’ve tried to forget it all, but so far haven’t been able to expunge you and her and the whole damned circus from my mind. Well, Miss Hoffman, because you were there, you’ll remember that Ciardha single-handedly took down a Goddess with nearly infinite power. So I’m thinking you, me and the redheaded witch don’t stand much of a chance.”
“So you’ve given up? I always thought you were a nerd, but I never thought you were a loser.”
“Loser. That the best you can come up with?”
That one did sort of sting, though. Was Greta right? Had I become a loser?
“Childish.”
“Whatever. Look, class is getting ready to start, so I’ve gotta go. So fabulous catching up with you Miss Hoffman. Take care of yourself.”
“Jake – wait! Don’t hang up yet.”
Desperation in her voice. Interesting.
“What, Greta?”
“Before you say no, just come meet with me. One time. Meet with me and hear me out, then you can say no and good-bye and never have to see me or talk to me again. I swear if you meet with me one time and say no, I’ll never hound you again.”
“And if I don’t meet with you?”
“I’ll be like wet toilet paper stuck to your shoe.”
Lovely thought. I knew Greta. She was totally capable of being wet toilet paper stuck to my shoe.
“Okay, fine. I’ll see you. Once.”
“Great. You name the time and place.”
“My last class is over at 3:00, and I have to be at work by six. So meet me here, Wheaton Community College, room 21-A at 3:15. I don’t have much time, so don’t be late.”
“I’ll be there.”
I pushed the red ‘End Call’ button with relief that it was over. For now.
“What was that all about?” Tristan asked.
“Old business.”
He raised his eyebrows at me. “You need my help?”
“Nah, not yet anyway.”
“You need me, holler.”
“Thanks, man,” I said. He put his hand out, and we fist bumped.
It was just a meeting with Greta. I was pretty sure I could handle that. I’d meet with her, tell her to hit the pavement, then get back to my routine of avoiding human contact like it was the plague, ’cause it pretty much was.

Vicki Batman stops by Penny's Tales with the word for February!

Word for February: Plot

Pantser? Plotter? What’s that?

A Pantser is a writer who writes organically, by the seat of her pants. Her fingers rest on the keyboard, and the words flow from her fingertips. It’s magical.

In contrast, there is the Plotter, someone who creates a detailed outline to work from. Every scene is planned to the nth detail. (I’ve been told the benefit to doing this is the writer actually works faster with less edits.)To me, however, the plotter sounds like an eighth grade English assignment, not magical or fun, but torture.

I’m a Pantser (big surprise). Mostly, I begin with an idea about a character or plot. I know how I want the book to begin and how I want it to end before I put a word on the page. (Kinda like head planning.) I might bank these broken sentences and thoughts in a word doc. Then as they come to me, ideas for scenes are scrambled in the middle. Sorta like this:

Beginning
Scene
Scene
Scene
Black Moment
End

Wait a minute. Oh boy, scratch head, I’m confused. That sounds waayyy more organized than I thought. Am I a Plotter after all? Is the difference Pantsers never preplan and Plotters do? Can someone be both? Will I never sell if I’m not a Plotter?

Help!

Does it matter which? Isn’t what is more important is to put the writing on the paper, not how I plan to get on the paper?

I’m thinking this is an age-old argument, one I’m not going to solve. Because each of our paths are different, we will write in our own way with our own style. What’s important is we write the very best book we can write. That’s what will sell. What’s vital is the writing.

So regardless which you are--Pantser or Plotter--write! I can’t wait to read the next Best Seller.

Margo Bond Collins tells us about her latest book - Fairy, Texas

Writing Setting: It’s in the Details

Until I started writing fiction professionally, I had never heard the term “world-building.” But as soon as learned the term, it made perfect sense to me—world-building encompasses more than just “setting,” the term I had always used to cover everything that goes into the creation of a fictional world. For me, that has always meant the ways in which characters interact with their setting. I have never been terribly interested in long, detailed passages describing the surroundings in a book. As a reader, I tend to skim those passages—I’m much more interested in the people and the action of a story.

But as a writer, I’m having to learn how to give some of those details that I often skipped as a reader—a process that hasn’t always been easy! In order to make the settings relevant in my own work, I have made them an integral part of the stories. So far, that has meant placing characters in unfamiliar (to them, anyway) surroundings. In Waking Up Dead, Callie Taylor discovers that she is spending her afterlife in small-town Alabama. In the forthcoming Fairy, Texas, Laney Harris moves from her native Atlanta to a tiny town in Texas. Placing my narrators in settings that are new to them allows those characters to relay elements of the setting to the reader—it gives the narrators a reason to comment on the setting. And it’s often the tiny details that add up to a complete fictional world. In Fairy, Texas, Laney learns why ranchers hang dead coyotes on fences and comments that she can hear the coyotes howling at night. It’s a small comment, but it tells the reader something important about the rural western setting in which Laney finds herself.

In the excerpt below, Laney faces her first day at Fairy High School—a new setting for her and for the reader!

________________

Fairy High could have fit into one wing of my old school. The three-story, red brick building looked like it had been around for at least a century—it actually had carvings over two of the doorways that read “Men’s Entrance” and “Women’s Entrance.” I was glad to see that none of the kids paid any attention to those instructions.

“Counselor’s office,” I muttered to myself. At least I wasn’t starting in the middle of a term—though given the fact that there were fewer than 500 students in the entire high school, I didn’t think I was going to be able to go unnoticed, even in the general bustle of the first day back from summer vacation.
I walked through the door marked “Men’s Entrance,” just be contrary, and faced a long hallway lined with heavy wooden doors. The spaces in between the doors were filled with lockers and marble staircases with ornate hand-rails flanked each end of the long hallway. Students poured in behind me, calling out greetings to each other and jostling me off to the side while I tried to get my bearings. None of the doors obviously led to a main office; I was going to have to walk the entire length of the hallway. And people were already starting to stare and whisper.
God. I hated being the new kid.

I took a deep breath and stepped forward. I made it halfway down the hall without seeing anything informative—all the doors had numbers over them and many of them had name plaques, but neither of those things did me any good since I didn’t know the name or office number for the counselor. I was almost getting desperate enough to ask Kayla, but of course she was nowhere to be seen.
I turned back from scanning the halls for her and caught sight of the first adult I’d seen—and almost screamed. As it was, I gasped loudly enough for a guy walking past me to do a double take. The man standing in the open doorway was tall, over six feet, and way skinny—so emaciated that it looked like you ought to be able to see his ribs through his shirt, if his shirt didn’t hang so loosely on him. He had white hair that stuck out in tufts, thin lips, a sharp nose, and pale blue eyes that narrowed as he watched the kids walk past—and all the kids gave him a wide berth without even seeming to notice that they did so. He stood in an empty circle while students streamed around him in the crowded hallway.
But none of that was what made me almost scream.
For a moment, just as I’d turned toward him, I could have sworn that I’d seen the shadow of two huge, black, leathery wings stretched out behind him.

Fairy, Texas Blurb:

Fairy, Texas. A small town like any other.

Laney Harris didn't want to live there. When her mother remarried and moved them to a town where a date meant hanging out at the Sonic, Laney figured that "boring" would have a whole new meaning. A new stepsister who despised her and a high school where she was the only topic of gossip were bad enough. But when she met the school counselor (and his terminal bad breath), she grew suspicious. Especially since he had wings that only she could see. And then there were Josh and Mason, two gorgeous glimmering-eyed classmates whose interest in her might not be for the reasons she hoped. Not to mention that dead guy she nearly tripped over in gym class.

She was right. Boring took on an entirely new dimension in Fairy, Texas.

Jessica Walsh and Briana Lawrence stop by Penny's Tales

A Big Welcome to Jessica and Briana

1. Tell us all about yourself and what makes you tick and what do you like doing when you aren’t writing!

Jessica: I love to sew and be creative.  Sketching, drawing, coming up with ideas for future stories, anything that makes my muses wander and be happy.  I specifically love turning two dimensional characters (like Disney) into actual dresses we can both wear.

Briana:  Meanwhile, I like to draw and paint and woodburn, and I love playing video games.  Jessica usually watches me play.  We also watch anime together and other geeky things.  We also role play with each other online, creating different characters and stories.  It’s how “Seeking the Storyteller” was born, actually.

2.  Tell us about your family – married?   Kids?   Where you live!

Jessica: We live together, no kids but we have three cats.  We have our own house in the Twin Cities, in Minnesota.

Briana:  Of course we have parents and stuff, haha.  But yeah our house is us, our cats, and a bunch of figurines and manga and anime and movies and video games and fabric and... wait do those things count as family?

3.If you could travel anywhere in or out of this world, where would it be?

Jessica: I would love to go back to London again, or Japan… or pretty much anywhere with ancient ruins and a really rich culture you can just lose yourself in.

Briana:  I want to revisit London, too!  And I really want to revisit Paris (I was only there for a weekend during my college London trip).  Also Japan, and Italy, and... pretty much everywhere.  Even here in the U.S., there’s so many places I haven’t gone.

4. What is your favorite all time movie?

Jessica: Mine would have to be Labyrinth.  When I was growing up I remember a distinct lack of female main characters in movies, and Labyrinth was one of the few that had that and the fantasy element I’ve always loved.  I could (and have) watch it endlessly.

Briana:  Of all time?  That’s a hard question.  I feel like I can watch “Office Space” at the drop of a hat, or -- oddly enough -- the Mortal Kombat movie.  I don’t know what it is about that movie.  I really, really love the video games, and I was really excited to see the movie when I was a kid.

5. What about weekly TV show?  Why?

Jessica: Currently loving Once Upon a Time.  Along with the fantasy element, I love seeing well known characters from my childhood reimagined in such interesting ways.  It’s like meeting them again for the first time and I love all the twists and turns.

Briana:  I have this weird fascination with some reality shows, like the cooking ones.  I can’t explain what it is about Chef Ramsey screaming, but I just do.  There’s also shows like “Pawn Stars” and “Deadly Women,” I dunno, I just enjoy them.  I also love game shows like “Price is Right” and “Family Feud.”  I also enjoy sitcoms, but they tend to be ones that are already over, like “King of Queens” and “Seinfeld” and things like that.

There are a couple of shows we’ve watched together, especially with anime.  “Attack on Titan” and “Free! Iwatobi Swim Club,” we actually marathoned together.  Currently Jessica and I are going back and watching “Justice League” and I think we have a plan to watch the animated DC series?  Like “Batman Beyond” and “Teen Titans” and “Young Justice.”  We do marathons like that sometimes and it’s a lot of fun.

6. What is the scariest situation you have ever been in?

Jessica: Back in college, Briana lived in Iowa and I lived in Minnesota and I would drive down once a month to see her.  One month, in the winter, I drove down in the middle of a white out snow storm.  I could barely see the road and really only knew where I was going because of the car in front of me and the slight difference in shades of white around me.  I think I counted about 26 jack knifed semis on the way.  I almost made it there, but about half an hour away I finally pulled into a rest stop and spent the night in a locked rest stop bathroom because my nerves were so frayed I couldn’t drive anymore.  Made it there the next morning without incident, but I’m not a big fan of driving in heavy snow now because of it.

Briana:  One time, I think it was a year after I moved here to Minnesota, Jessica picked me up from work.  When we got home, all of the lights were on and our screen window was cut.  Someone had broken into our apartment.  They didn’t take much, but the fact that someone was in our place without our knowledge, going through our things was scary.  Our cat at the time, Isis, was hiding in the closet and she was so scared.  They had gone into our bedroom, for sure, because our pillow cases were gone and we think they were used to steal our things.  Some movies and games were taken along with our computers and one of our PS2s (we had two because we both had one in college).

It’s ironic, because the robbery forced us to start over in our online role play because we needed to get new laptops.  By starting over, we ended up creating the Storyteller.  Now we have a book.

7. If you could have any fantasy, what would it be?

Jessica: I would love to have the ability to think something and then have it end up on paper.  This would make writing so much easier, especially with the really strange images that show up in my brain sometimes.

Briana:  That’s a really cool ability!  I think I’d like that too, please.

8. Now, Tell us about your book?

Jessica:  Seeking the Storyteller centers around the idea of this being called the Storyteller.  He lives in a library of books, where each book is a person’s story from beginning to end.  He’s not ever supposed to leave this library, but he has and that’s a lot of power to be walking around with.

Briana:  This power catches the attention of Alix Andre DeBenit.  Alix is a Hunter.  Hunters are sort of like a hidden police force of sorts.  They’re the ones who stop the demons and other supernatural creatures who roam around before we realize that they even exist.  Alix hates demons because of what happened to his family years ago, but with knowledge of the Storyteller, he has a chance to get the past rewritten.  He has a chance to get back what he lost.  He just has to decide if it’s worth working with the creatures he hates so much.

9. Where did you come up with the idea for your story?

Jessica: While we were long distance and living in two different states, we would spend every night chatting online.  The idea of the Storyteller and the characters around him all came from those chats, just evolving over time into who they are now.

Briana:  And then there was the robbery, which I mentioned before.  And we kept role playing with this Storyteller character.  Then, one day, Jessica sent me an idea for a first chapter.  Then we decided to keep going.  It was through NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) that the story came to life.

11. Most important – where can we buy your story?

Seeking the Storyteller is available through Solstice Publishing and Amazon.

Please send a copy of the cover of your book and a picture of you (no bigger than 400 X 600 on both pictures please) if you would like.  You can send a book blurb and a short excerpt also.
If you have a question you want to add because you have a great answer for – add it on.  I’m kind of a crappy question asker!
