Page Turner Book Tours presents Karyn Pearson and her Hellfire Series
Title: Spark
Series: The Hellfire Series
Author: Karyn Pearson
Genre: Paranormal, Fantasy
Publisher: The Writing Network
Formats Available In: Digital
Release Date: June 23, 2013
Now, in this post-apocalypse, humanity has but one choice: resist or die. In order to combat the forces of Hell, man has learned to fight, training from their youth to hunt the demons that threaten their very existence.
Twenty-five years ago, a demon hunter dared rise against an ancient demon family, the Saligia—the Seven Deadly Sins—and was cursed for her defiance. The curse appeared in the guise of an innocent: the huntress’s own daughter, Ardentia, who had been born with a demon soul attached to her own.
In the present day, Ardentia, now grown, seeks to free her mother from her curse by hunting down the demons responsible. But the road ahead will be difficult now that the demon within her has awakened. Trusting him is dangerous, especially when he can turn on her at a moment’s notice. Others have warned her that succumbing to the demon will be her own downfall.
Now Ardentia must decide what she’s willing to lose: her mother’s freedom or herself.
Excerpt:
The demon snapped his fingers and the daemonis igni behind Ardentia grew blindingly bright and white-hot, the flames reaching over forty feet high and surging straight toward her. She froze with fear, knowing that in a few seconds she was about to die, burned alive in the fires of Hell.
“Ardentia!” Noxius was shouting. “Run! Run now!”
She was too scared to move. She could not even muster up the strength to take that first step. Somehow, even if she did run away, she knew that the flames or Gula would end up devouring her anyway.
Distantly, she could hear the voices of her comrades, yelling for her to run, to find higher ground, but still, she could not move.
Noxius snarled with irritation, muttering a stream of curses in lingua daemon.
“Idiot girl!” he hissed at her. “I’ve no other choice. I simply cannot allow us both to die here.”
And then an indescribable force slammed against the inside of Ardentia’s skull. She saw bright lights pop in front of her eyes, nearly blinded with pain, and dropped to her knees in a daze. Dimly, she could feel Noxius seizing control; his power coursed through her, flooding her with an unimaginable strength and power that she was incapable of using. Her hand started to reach for the reliquary dangling from her belt, only to feel an invisible hand within her snatching it away.
“What are you doing?” she asked weakly.
“You’ll thank me in a moment,” Noxius answered her.
Ardentia’s eyes fell shut and she thought she could hear the sound of wings being spread then close around her. If she leant to the side ever so slightly, she swore she could feel the leathery velvet of the wing brush against her cheek.
An intense heat passed over her; she realized that it was probably the demonic fire, having reached her at last. She inhaled sharply, preparing to scream as she burned in the hellish pyre, only to find that she did not need to. There was only heat but no flames. She was not burned.
About Karyn Pearson:
When she’s not writing, she can be found curled up with a book, playing video games, doing research for her books on the web, or attempting to not burn the house down with another kitchen experiment, a hobby otherwise known as cooking.

- Tell us all about Ace and what makes him tick and what do you like doing when you aren’t writing! Ace likes to propel off walls, ceilings, and floors, preferably at night while others are trying to sleep. Sigh. Gummy worms make him tick. And tick. And tick, tick, tick! He doesn’t write much. you'd like to purchase JULIUS CAESAR BROWN AND THE GREEN GAS MYSTERY it's
available as an ebook now and is coming in print Fall 2013:
Blurb: The world is farting green! Who will stop
the green gas crisis?
Excerpt:
Chapter 1
The real
Julius Caesar conquered the world.
All I
wanted was to conquer a simple spelling test.
“Having
trouble, Salad Boy?”
I set down my pencil and glared at Ben
Purdee, the brainiest kid in fifth grade. “No problem.”
Yes I
had a problem. And it wasn’t just how to spell brocolee.
Mrs. Tucker closed her book. “Time’s up.
Pass them forward.”
I handed Ivy my test and pushed my chair
away from my desk. The legs scraped the floor and made a loud, embarrassing
noise.
Ivy Chen
stared, her brown eyes wide as pie.
Ben
nudged me and smirked. “Did you just—?”
“No! It
was my chair. See?” I scooted back and forth trying to remake the suspicious
sound, but I couldn’t. Ben moved his desk away from mine. Ivy’s nose twitched.
My cheeks grew hot. “It really was the chair,” I mumbled.

KC (Kathi) Sprayberry stops by Penny's Tales
The Ghost Catcher
Blog Event
July 10, 2013
Blurb:
A gift to know when people are in trouble of the ghostly
type puts Hailey Hatmaker in the middle of a major problem – one that winds up
getting her into more hot water than she can handle. In true Hailey Hatmaker
fashion, she dives into what turns out to be a battle with Limbo, her number
one nemesis.
Can Hailey rescue two friends before it's too late? Or ish
forever condemned to losing to Limbo?
Excerpt:
No adult in Landry, Georgia would ever admit a teen can do something
right. Not a one, for then they would have to 'fess up to the teens being able
to make their own decisions. The people in charge just plain ignored any good
thing teens did.
Then I saw a problem, one I couldn't say a word about.
All I could do is stand to one side and watch as disaster loomed.
I was the last person with Maren Dougless and Zac
Morton Friday afternoon at the high school. What I saw of their auras – green
with a black outer edge – scared me right down to my toes. As if that wasn't
bad enough, since black represented death, and green meant
vibrant life, in addition the center
of those auras each had a reddish eye in the
center with sickly yellow streaks arcing throughout it.
That was more than
enough to make any person run for the hills, but I'm Hailey Hatmaker, Ghost
Catcher extraordinaire. After many, many years of catching ghosts, I didn't
want two good friends to suffer that fate, but I had a big problem.
Bio:
I am happily married to a man I
met while in the Air Force. We will soon celebrate 20 years of marriage. Our
teen, the youngest of 8, keeps us on our toes with his band activities. Writing
is something I've done since I was very young. At first, it was in a diary and
then I poured all my energies into English compositions, earning praise from my
Advanced Composition teacher in high school for an extremely visual project.
While in the Air Force, I placed second in the Freedoms Foundation at Valley
Forge's annual contest and from then on, was hooked. However, the reality of a
military career and raising children forced me to put off attempting
publication until my husband and I moved to Georgia. It was after the birth of
our now teen that I began taking courses through The Institute of Children's
Literature, Long Ridge Writer's Group, and Writers Digest in an effort to make
my life's dream come true.
We live in Northwest Georgia, in
a small town, where I write Romance, Westerns, Young Adult, and Middle Grade
stories, both short and book length. More than a dozen of my short stories have
appeared in magazines such as Listen Magazine, Brio, and The Pink Chameleon
website. I also have two short stories in anthologies, Passionate Hearts
Anthology and Mystery Times Ten. My westerns have garnered interest by avid
readers and appear on The Western Online and Frontier Tales.
My work appears under the pen
names of KC Sprayberry and Kathi Sprayberry. Softly Say Goodbye, a young adult
novel, was my NaNoWriMo winning project for 2010. This story was inspired by a
quote from a song and hearing of an auto wreck involving teens and drinking.

Kristal McKerrington stops by Penny's Tales
Hello All
Readers,
I want to thank
Penny Estelle for having me on here today with my co-author Joe E Legend.
My co-author is a former WWE/TNA superstar, film star and now full time
author. He's about to release a whole range of books on the world.
Here is a
taster of what we are releasing next week with Solstice Publishing.
The book is called “Norse Gods: The Lovers War.” This sees me
return to the Paranormal romance world for the first time in quite some time.
“Loki wasn't
ready for a new mate. Jennifer's here to take his son. What will happen when
the two collide? Is she ready to fall in love with a Norse God?”
We have another
great book coming out in the next two weeks with Solstice Publishing, Waking Up His Wife. This
book is more what is expected of Joe. He's taking the lead and helping to put
out a wrestling romance which is very close to how wrestling is actually
handled in real life. What better person to take lead on this great book?
“Strong,
muscled chiselled good looks and a gentlemen to boot. That was what Anna's
friends thought she'd caught herself. Instead she caught herself a fighter, a
wrestler and she knew what that meant.”
These two great
books will be in eBook and Print. These are designed to tease your senses and
make you water at the mouth. The hard hitting plots help me to live up to my
reputation. These are the skills I'm passing onto Joe.
Currently I have Calling You Home
out with Solstice Publishing. I have just finished the second
part to May and Jason's story and I hope to be getting it to the publisher very
soon. I've been so honoured to be a part of the special Celebrity Imprint she
opened for us.
Jason
finds out, Mary, the woman he let go all those years ago has returned. Now they
have a second chance at the future they have always dreamed of, but she carried
a secret away when she left. Now that she’s back her secrets have come home to
roost. How will Jason react when he finds out what she has been hiding?
Get your copy
now from Amazon for $1.24! What a bargain right?
Before we get
out of here, we are proud to present our first book with Firefly &
Wisp Publishing. Its a hot book which has tongues wagging from one end
of the States to the other. This is a book which has seen many dancers
gossiping and wrestlers just a like. This is a hard hitting story which will
have you desperate for me.
What is this
book called?
Well its none
other than Marie's World.
“A simple
job, unwanted love triangle. There is no escape for this twin.”
This book is
due out really soon, we hope the 4th of July. We will announce its
release on Twitter the moment its out.
Well thank you Penny for letting us taking over your wonderful page and we hope to talk again
soon. Before we completely close out this awesome blog, we hope to drop you the
links for the fan pages where you can talk directly to me and Joe.

John Rosenman stops by Penny's Tales
Blurb – Kingdom
of the Jax:
Accompanied
by Yaneta, his beautiful alien bride, Turtan travels across the stars to Cross
Imperial Station. The Jax, Overseers of
the universe, have given him an amazing navigational device which can enable
the Cross to quickly defeat their seemingly invincible enemy, the Cen, and end
their five-thousand-year-old war.
But will
the Emperor welcome him to the station or order the execution of both him and
his wife? Turtan is, after all,
endlessly resourceful and may learn the emperors’ terrible secret and act of
betrayal concealed these past five hundred years. Even if spared, Yaneta is still a member of the enemy and may be
killed instantly.
To
succeed in his mission, Turtan faces an almost impossible task, one requiring
not only luck but the full range of all the skills he has acquired in four
thousand years as an elite agent.
It is
his greatest challenge ever.
Excerpt from the Beginning of
Chapter Fourteen of Kingdom of the Jax:
Yaneta was right. When he woke up to her kissing him thirty-one years later, he
liked it very much indeed, especially since her kisses soon grew into something
more. As the needles withdrew, he knew
they should follow protocol and practice reintegration exercises (however,
their current exercises appeared to be an admirable substitute!), and they
should rush to the bridge to see how close they were to their destination, or
even if their destination still existed.
Only as Yaneta mounted him for the second time and began undulating in
interesting and creative ways, any thoughts of duty uncharacteristically left
Turtan’s mind.
After a while, he
tipped his loving Cen adversary over and rose on top. The war continued, with the Cross now ascendant. Yaneta grew sleek, slippery, and supple
beyond belief. She kissed every
centimeter of his body, though he didn’t know how. Next she tossed him over in a friendly revolt and coaxed yet another
orgasm forth where he’d thought only exhaustion remained.
“My God,” he gasped,
“did you inject me with an aphrodisiac?”
“Natural pheromones,”
she said. “Very mild. By the way, how is your shoulder?”
Oh yes, a ricochet at
the station had given him a nasty burn.
During their lovemaking, he’d forgotten.
He twisted to examine the wound. “It’s almost gone. How—Oh.”
He remembered her licking it.
“I just wish I could
lick away your past,” she said. Her
hands slipped down, cupping and coaxing his buttocks. “Come on, take us to paradise again.”
He huffed and
puffed. “I’m too old for this. Even older than Methuselah.”
“Who’s he?”
“Check your Bible.”
“Check this.”
She moved her
hands.
“God,” he said. “Holy—”
“See what I mean about
the hands of some Cen females? Believe
me, they can work miracles.”
Turtan sucked in his
breath. Before him the doors of
paradise not only opened, they yawned wide.
